Emerging from Vigo's metal scene in 2011, Agónica spent years refining their melodic death metal identity before recording their debut "A New Onset" in 2012 with producer Pedro Mendes at Ultrasound Studios. Their sound balances the aggression of Galician extreme metal with carefully layered melodic structures.
