Aegonia
Aegonia is an atmospheric metal project from Sofia, Bulgaria, founded in 2011 around a companion series of original fantasy novels. The band draws heavily from Bulgarian folklore — including themes of the mythological forest spirit Samodiva — and released the full-length "The Forgotten Song" (2019) and the EP "Moonlight Tales" (2022), blending heavy metal instrumentation with acoustic classical elements.
