Aedra is an atmospheric sludge and post-metal power trio from Aalborg, Denmark, formed in 2008, whose releases Somatopagnosia and No End / Open End deliver powerful electrified cascades of heaviness and subtlety. The band describes their sound as a tornado of flowers and rusty nails, blending organic elements with high-tech textures in the post-Isis tradition of atmospheric heavy music.
