A metalcore and thrash metal band from Dortmund formed in 2000, A Gift Called Anger brought together members of Frozen Illusion and Inhuman Conditions and spent years developing before recording their first demo Wounds in 2007. Their full-length The Rise, the Wounds, the Fear documents a band rooted in the NRW region's heavy underground tradition.
