Farben Lehre are a Polish punk rock band from Płock, formed in 1986 by Wojciech Wojda and Marek Knap. Coming out of the late communist-era Polish underground, the band became part of a punk landscape where music, youth identity, and social pressure were tightly connected. Their first concert took place in Płock in October 1986, and by 1990 they had won recognition at the influential Jarocin Festival, a crucial gathering point for Polish alternative and punk culture.
